    Best ever.

No lag, no bugs so far.

Was on vacation in Austria (great place btw) and didn't get to use my early access until yesterday. I had closed beta access and they really cleaned up the start of the game. The introduction into the Dragon faction is really good. I just love the animations/effects for pistols are now and the crit/penetrate camera shake looks really good. I can't really decide which weapon(s) to start out with so I am currently stuck in the Dojo though. :D

Talked to a friend of mine who played from 10am to 0:30am with two other friends of mine in Kingsmouth doing just about everything, including Polaris. (They had played through it in beta, so went pretty quickly). I am kinda sad I missed it. :(

I didn't have any problems during the early lunch. The only thing was that there were much less ppl in Fusang project battleground (Deamon dimension/server) than during FBW.

I thought that quest was bugged. I couldn't click on any of the white ravens.

If you looked closely it looked like multiple ravens were sitting in the same spot. At least 2 or3.

It is interesting making some of the quests so hard. People get to argue back and forth on whether they are broken or just too hard.

The launch went great., with no hiccups I haven't had any crashes or any bugs. I've heard that there was a certain quest that was bugged, but that was fixed quite quickly.

Now I enjoy my existince in this secret world, enjoying the sight of all the new people that are "born" into it. After its launch, I haven't had such a good feeling since when WoW was released. And I've tried many mmos :)

    See you ingame!

This has been THE best MMO launch for me hands down.

And I've played quite a few.

Rift comes in at a close second.

(I don't consider WoW expansions as "Launches" otherwise they would beat everything.)

I have my issues with TSW but I have to give Funcom marks for a excellent start.

TOR was a staggered nigthtmare, how can you throw that together with Rift and TSW launch ??!

I agree. It makes me wonder if people have even actually played the games they comment on.

In addition, the PVE maybe somewhat good in terms of the storyline and its eye catching power, but I feel it'll become another d3.  It'll run out of contents really fast.  Trust me I could finish one whole map area's quests in about a day and I work full-time as well so, that says something.  Not to mention you can farm your skills points through repeating the instance quests and doing repeat quests.  So, that's that.  I can't say any further.  Oh, btw the PVP ain't great.  Everyone looks the same.  I know the company wants to prevent the server from lagging by loading up lesser files, but I would rather have a different costume.  If WoW can do it without lag so, can they.  PVP zazz level ain't that great as well.  Total boredom.  It's like farming in D3 for uniques and you'll fall asleep in front of your computer in less than 10 mins. while, doing it.

I had to rate it "Good".

I'm playing it pretty obssessively and mostly having fun doing so. However, I'm also finding myself constantly having to temper my enthusiasm due to less than ideal game design issues. I'm even more convinced than ever that this is a game I will only want to play through once, while hoping it remains fun enough to actually play though to the end.

I hate that repeating content is a built in assumption and requirement for the game. I like MMOs with massive worlds and a huge redundancy of content. That's not TSW. I hate that every element of mission design and combat XP/drop rewards makes other people being around an impediment, rather than a boon. I've never seen such an anti-social in game community and that's largely due to bad cooperative element game design. (People are constantly stealing quest objectives and far too often if you don't get the objective you triggered, you aren't going to get it unless you steal it from someone else, or find someone on the same mission willing to group up and share the objective credit).

I love the environment. I like the combat, (although I wish there were a better variety of skills). I love the depth of the character progression system, even if it is possible for people to gimp themselves with bad decisions. (There is no reset, if you screw up, you have to go back and repeat lower tier content in order to earn AP and SP to take your skill base in a different direction).

So, yeah, it's good. The frustrating thing is that it could be great if it weren't for some serious flaws and short-comings.

A few minor hiccups aside, I thought the launch was extremely good.  Funcom got it right, for the most part.

The game is a hell of a lot of fun, and has a decidedly different feel from the average themepark as well.

Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned.

I experienced a perfect launch, then again it could be because of how few hours I spent each day playing, real life stuff.. always getting in my way :( But I didnt have to deal with any frustration, enjoyed my playtime, no super annoying bugs.. all good here :D
