P2P LOGIC = If it's P2P it means longevity, overall better game, and THE BEST SUPPORT EVER!!!!!(Which has been rinsed and repeated about a thousand times)
Common Sense Logic = P2P logic is no better than F2P Logic.
Gear is a moot point, so what can people buy with real money, buying gems, than trading for in game money? Buy crap that doesn't matter in game-(mouts, pets, pretty armor with no stat boosts) I have no problem with people wasting thier money(in my opinion, even though alot of people like that personal vanity stuff, so good for them)
So even if they do spend money for in game money, why does anyone care? I mean seriously, in a pay to play mmo, people cry that people who play 12 hours a day have an unfair advantage? In this game, people will complain that people that spend alot of money will have an advantage. Whats the difference?
How do you make a game where no one will have an advantage? I guess its time to go back to pong.
I do not see this as a pay to win game, I see it as a pay to have lots of pretty's and shinies. Which I don't care about, so I'm ok.

Well it's not impossible for any game to add a P2W cash shop if the devs want to. The time to complain is when they do (or say they plan to do).... if we complained about what companies MIGHT do.. we'd complain about everything.

I log into the game 6 month after realese. Go into shop thingy, buy Gems, sell them on AH or directly to Arenanet, buy best gear from AH, progress...... what an illussion of mmo((((

PLUS all items in the store can be bought using your in-game gold & trading it for gems...
so actually the shop system is brilliant!

So far as we know right now the best gear come from, dungeons and karma vendors. You can't get either from gold.
Actually the best "statistical" gear is acquired through not only dungeons & karma vendors; but also crafting and WvW token vendors. In the end there's just so many ways to get the best gear, without spending any cash.
