True, but as Isasis stated, American police would go out of their way to mess with that guy. They don't take to being filmed lightly either, usually resulting in a smashed camera and light beating (no marks, so you don't have evidence). They are smarter here about abusing their position.
My father tried to tell a cop how to do his job once once and they towed his car 3 times in the same month and everything in it each time got stolen.

The doctor pressed charges against the cop and another cop that investigated it tried to get the doctor to back off by suggesting that the charges against the doctor would be dropped. Well, those cops were charged with discreditable conduct:
In order to avoid losing his pension the chief of police retired early because he's supposed to report all incidents of injury to the public by a police officer to the civilian special investigations unit.

There was a case around me about a doctor that was charged with assaulting an officer.
