Came across this video on youtube and thought i'd share. shows how great the game can look when you crank up the graphics and force some AA, and one of the funner classes, the disciple.

Yeah the Disciple is the king soloer,it's also one of my main classes,have 5 level 55 classes.That vid was taken outside Rahz Inkur,it's a level 44ish outside dungeon with some long quests lines and great rewards.Don't forget that we don't know what level that disciple was but judging by some of the armour in a couple of shots,he is above level 44-46-7.
Still i have gone into Rahz and soloed mobs,it's better done with a duo though to be honest,you have alot of named mobs in that fort.I can also solo in their on my Tuurgin Shammy(bear),don't forget that both the shammy and the Disciple are two of the 4 main healers in the game so soloing comes alot easier in places like Rahz.
Don't get me wrong,it's a dangerous place and most mobs will whip your ass lol,personally you are needing a group to really get all the rewards and it takes days of killing as well.

Some great looking videos there. I did see them, but the music was such a turn off to me... i had a hard time watching them.
For the setfog i always make a macro on all my new toons that i can punch when i log in. it is
/setfog 250000 400000 120 120 120 you can adjust the first number up or down to increase or decrease fog range
Vanguard has such a great ambience and look, it really draws me in with the graphics maxed. Hopefully more people will be aware of what some adjustments can do.
The music didnt seem to bother me. Where is it that people are hearing this tune all the time?
My blood mage was able to solo those 4 dots as well. Healer classes have a ton of survivability in VG. I kinda miss it but I can't get into PvE only servers. It kills me inside.

Hmmm, while the annimations where kind of okay, both PC and NPC looked like hitting at the air infront of them instead of connecting with the other toon.
This exactly was what killed combat fun and immersion for me long time ago.

Vanguard is not for everyone,it's an aquired taste to be honest.I have been in a certain beta for weeks and i don't just mean now and again.Even so,i still play Vanguard when i'm not doing the other,for me it's got so much more depth than most other MMOs and all these new MMOs released or about to be released.
Don't forget that every class play differently,perhaps the monk and disciple are alike but one is a healer and the other is an offensive tank/fighter without heals.
