En Masse Entertainment has announced that it is offering a free 7-day trial for new TERA players. Players can create up to eight characters and level each to 23 during their time in game.
The TERA trial is good for seven calendar days from the time a player enters the trial code. Players can level up to eight characters to level 23 on one server during the trial. There are some additional restrictions—trial players cannot vote in TERA elections, for instance—but for the most part, players can enjoy the full benefits of the game during their week of free play. All players need to join the world of TERA is an En Masse account. Then they can enter the code “TERATRIAL” to download and play TERA.
Head to the TERA trial site for more information.

I tried TERA and got to 60 but although the game plays great I was put off by the character models in the end. I found the actual game to be pretty good, combat is fun, the game looks great and runs well and I found few bugs. I think as the above poster highlights its always going to be behind Korea in terms of updates, Aion is in the exact same situation unfortunately.
Why does it matter if the western vesion gets their updates after they go live in Korea? The wait between expansions is about the same for both sides. It's not like they get one every month and we have to wait eight months.

I WAS going to play Tera but then I found out two things that stopped me. 1. The PvP is not finished and is only a shell of what it potentialy could be...and 2. I hear that it's impossible to delete your credit card information after you cancel you subscription so they charge you even though you cancelled.
I can take my CC info off marz. that was a very temporary issue.
Love this game. Best game ive played since Rift was new.

Playing Path of Exile and deeply in love with it.
I am started the trial but from what I've seen so far, Terra is definitely not a game I would like.
Mission in life: Vanquish all MMORPG.com trolls - especially TESO, WOW and GW2 trolls.
It's more than possible. Having said that, make sure you at least have your first group BAM (big monster) fight.

Damn I wish I would have waited a few weeks, got it for 25 off amazon and played it for only 3 days then uninstalled because the game was horrible and not for me.
Ya, not really that good of a game IMO. I m glad I didn t do the impulse MMO buy with this one, before the beta events.
I can't even log into tera anymore. I have a 60 archer with full t12 and the game bores the life out of me. The pvp is a joke, with no incentive other than to just pvp. Granted that is fun, but gets old very fast. I would honestly save your money on this one, and as much as it pains me to say it......... wait for GW2, or possibly TSW.
EnMasse, your doing it wrong:
- Free 7 day trial for new players -> Boo!!!
- Free up to level 15-20 for everyone -> YAY!!!!
So far you got the Boo!
Also, IP blocking...BOOO!!!!
Tera? No way. Im playing Rift, waiting for Gw2 and im very happy since 2011 with this. Rift is the number one. Gw2? I dont know, but i will play sure.
Tell that to the GF customers of Aion EU
yehh - i am from Israel and it seems they still don't want me to play.....
too bad for them :-) hehe
Just my 2 cents...
isnt the korean version of tera f2p? cuz im pretty sure it is from what i rember seeing
I like it enough to where I would pay 50$ for the box copy, but I'm not about to pay 15$ a month for it. Needs to go B2P.
