There have been tons of secuirity lately... Linkedin, Last.fm, LoL euro, eHarmony, and to an extent gmail when re-authenticating.
Of course the most valuable part of the breach is then the ability to try to match username and passwords to other services. Often times these matches get resold and traded around with other individuals.
So now a poll, where services could be anything from online banking, throw away forum accounts, or games.

If you have a unique throw-away email address for each service, you can detect many security breaches by the sudden appearance of spam.
And using a password management application will help. There are several but a decent one is KeePass. It's an open source program available through sourceforge. It isn't perfect and will take some learing to us well.
