WaC client and forums?

So I have been trying to figure out how to download a client. The only information I have found says you have to be a registered member on the forums. The forums have never worked so what gives?

I have 3 questions for Kenneth or whoever is in charge now.

1. Why is this game advertised as free to play and playable now if there is no way to download a client and try it?

2. Why isn't the client available anywhere but the phantom forums?

3. If the forums are down or the service you use sucks, why haven't you moved your forums to a different service in months?

I'm reading a couple of posts from a year or so ago and I see that the forums and site have been offline for a while. Take your game off the sites if no one is able to download and play it.

    1. Where is advertised as free to play and available now?  If so I'll see that this is pulled.  The current game is alpha, and isn't even into testing yet.  I believe the only site listing WAC is here on MMORPG.com.  I believe that listing still shows the game under development.

     

    2. There is no client.  There were 2 betas in the past year, but both went back to alpha for rework.

     

    3. Forums are private because there was a spammer who wasted my time posting trashy adds for Viagra.  The new forum isn't public because at the moment there isn't much to talk about until I get the game back into alpha testing.  Right now the servers aren't even turned on.  I've been working on a new world getting that ready to be populated.

     

    Here's the new world's map.  It's 9 zones and roughly twice the size of Oblivion.

    It's still at least 6 months away from a playable beta, and probably a year (or more) until it's fully ready to be released.

    Edit.  I did see MMORPG.com showed status as in beta testing.  I notified them of the change.  I wasn't aware that the game was ever marked as in beta.

    Thanks for the quick reply.

    I haven't seen available posted I will eat crow and admit my wrong doing there.

    The things WAC is doing have interested me for over  year and I have been itching to check this game out. I understand development stages. I am a concept artist and 3d modeler myself.

     

    Thanks again for the reply I will keep following this game for sure with a response time like this.
