    Hey I pre-purchased GW2, accidentally though since the purchase link in my store said "preorder" not "pre-purchase" anyway, I'm not even gonna bother with the beta, keeps everything fresh at the launch :)

    I fear that they will give too little time to download the client, some may raise the cry that they did not get the beta at the time. This can damage the reputation of ANet.

    Well based on earlier beta events the client aint that big(around 10-12 gb) so even with my 200kb/s connection(ye its really that low) I'm honestly not worried.

    Im more concerned how fast I can get the client.  When I was downloading TERA, even though I have a 3MB/sec down I was only getting 300K!  It took me 2 days at that speed to download the full client.

    As long as I can max out my line, I'll be able to get it quickly.  10-12GB?  I can get that in about 2 hours or a little under.
