Straight off the Guild Wars 2 Twitter:  Good news!First Beta Weekend Event will be from April 27-29. We will let you know once the client is ready for download. We'll have a blog post with details about what and when you can play later today or tomorrow. If you haven't already: pre-purchase to participate!

    Ugh I usually don't pre-order or pre-purchase any game but seeing this date makes me heavily contemplating it for the first time. I would have rather waited for an official release day but seeing this gives me a good estimate of when that will be and how far along they feel they are. Decisions decisions...
