War of the Immortals is a sequel of sorts to Perfect World's Battle of the Immortals. We've spent some time playing War of the Immortals and have a few thoughts to share about it. Read on and then leave us your thoughts in the comments.
With Perfect World being known for putting out a consistent flow of titles, such as Battle of the Immortals, it’s hard to overlook that one could only hope for more with their fresh release, War of the Immortals. Despite not being a direct sequel, there is no doubt that players have been looking forward to what may be another solid hack and slash title. But is it worth the download?

As a F2p game, why is beeing *FREE" considered as a positiv aspect when they have a heavy pay to win cashshop?
They probably couldn't figure out any other positive in this game
The cashshop is COMPLETELY optional. You don't have to use it. You can reach max level and get as good gear as payers by just playing.
You can trade your ingame gold for item mall currency! So it doesn't really matter what's in the item mall. Just play enough and you get everything

It is just convenience, to make things go a little bit faster. Also, never forget: it is optional
Who did you pay? Cash shop is the same like in Boi. P2W will destroy you in 1 hit. 1 hit!
You can become equally powerful if you just invest in time and trade a lot. Also PvP is optional and only available in dedicated areas.
Just lately this website has become very heavily infested with people endlessly moaning about cash shops. It's so boring, repetitive and predictable. Most of the time they are talking out of their arse and are merely repeating what they have seen others type. It would be great if people would just shut up about it
Negative comments are the norm for most every column this site. Chair shackled, lifeless game nerds are overcritical sour grape introverts, that are only satisifed when they are griping.
Welcome to the human race, it's why media outlets are so popular when they aren't really focused on facts, people love being parrots. Birth Certificate comes to mind instantly.
This is a very good game and I don't understand why it's reported as "In Development" when WoI was released in November/December...
Cash Shop is optional, you can't even imagine how much. In facts it doesn't contain gear, only potions, mounts, pets (but the cooler pets are in-game for free).
ZEN (the real-money currency) are tradeable with in game coins in both directions.
PvP is optional too. Duels are available in every area but Open PvP is available only in not instanced Dungeons, and in the upcoming Arena.
