Feedback Appreciated: Guild Wars Class Guides?

GeekieDaveGeekieDave Member Posts: 41

So I've been playing a ton of Guild Wars lately and it's my first time actually in the game and spending time playing. But after the first hour, I was hooked. I've been throughly enjoying the game thus far. I mean, It's got a story that keeps you interested. Unlike WoW and the repitive quests, Guild Wars is bringing me back to the days where I loved to quest. But while I'm still learning to play, There is one thing I've noticed and there isn't enough guides out there for the classes.

So here's where I'm looking for feedback on. I'm wondering if it would a cool idea to make Guild Wars guides with the help of some of you Guild Wars Guru's or should I hold out and wait for Guild Wars 2?

Here are some guides below to help you on your way.  There is no one way to play a class and that builds are used to each induvidual taste and to different scenarios.

There is a lot of information to take in if you havnt played over the years, and you will feel overwhelmed at times, try and join a guild that will guide you in the right direction, a lot of players online lately chasing the HoM rewards, If you have Nightfall then personally I would take that story line first as you get some nice companions along the way, factions is harder to do out of the 3 expansions imo and you need to have some experience to get through the content from the off.

Wow! Thank you for the awesome info! I might take some of it and talk about the expansions, etc and how I built my character in game!

There's already 6 years worth of guild wars guides all over the internet.. even then, the official wiki and gwpvx.com pretty much covers everything anyone needs to know. I'd just concentrate on enjoying the guild wars 1 content, it's gunna take you awhile to get through it all. In other words, save that guide writing effort for guild wars 2.. you'd get a much better response from it.

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
