Turbine has announced that the first expansion for Dungeons & Dragons Online will officially launch on June 25, 2012. Called "Menace of the Underdark", the expansion will bring a higher level cap, new adventure packs and the Druid class into the game.

The precursor to Menance, Web of Chaos, launches today.

    It took them 5 years to forget their fans, forget to update LOTRO, forget to be independent and be bought by Warner Bros, but they never forgot to waste all their energy in F2P and a lucrative Turbine Store for more profits. Now they focus on events where you need to buy keys in their store to unlock treasures found in the game...

    The prices for this expansion are a joke for a 6 year old game, especially one that's supposed to be FTP as well.. an absolute joke. The base edition doesn't even include the new class. Turbine went balls up years ago.

    I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it.
