GW2, Archeage and TERA.......oh god, they are all so amazing looking. How will I find time for all 3

EpicentEpicent Member UncommonPosts: 648

I WILL play all of these. How am I supposed to find time for all 3 of these. They all look so amazing. Teras combat and political system, archeages pvp and character impact on the world, gw2's dynamic events and personal story. I'm loving 2012 (although archeage may not make it this year.) Hurry up games. Tired of this sites forums all the time. Want to actually game lol.

Pace yourself. Take  breaks . Play each of  them evenly at first until you get deeper into the game. Only then will you see  which one will grab you the  most.

Well they tell us sleep is overrated and one good thing I have found about getting older is I seem to need a lot less of it.

dont worry like all other mmos, you will soon realize none are fun and then you will have plenty of time since you will unsub or stop logging in after a couple weeks then like all MMO' fans you will be waiting for that next MMO that will finally be the one ,lol

ok maybe finally one might be worth playin we will see.........

Well the great thing about themepark mmos is that you can thoroughly enjoy them for about 3 months. Thats plenty of time to get your money's worth and move on. You can always go back when expansions come or a cool patch releases that you want to check out.

ArcheAge, on the other hand, threatens to dominate my game time. It happened in SWG and I can see it happening again here.

I sit on a man's back, choking him and making him carry me, and yet assure myself and others that I am very sorry for him and wish to ease his lot by all possible means - except by getting off his back.

GW2 doesn't need a sub, so you can play that in short periods between bouts of TERA and ArcheAge. Mainly, choose one and stick with it until you feel like you want something else, then move on, then come back. Sub for a few months here, there, easy. There's not much in the way of stopping you from playing all three games.

Better yet, stop posting on forums and start taking up PC/console single-player games. There's more than a few deserving of your attention released last year, and Feb is a big month for releases with PS Vita's NA launch, and RE: Revelations up for 3DS. :)

Cancel all plans that include to ever leave your room again.

I did so...it works great for me. And talking to myself can be intersting, too. Unless i'm in a bad mood and get into an arguement :/

ditch any spouse you have, quit your job, stock up on snacks and play the games in a room close to any toilet/bathroom so you can easily manage to shower and have bathroom breaks.

also keep a weight or two and a fitness bike nearby so you dont build up any bloodclots or deep vein thrombosis (sorry possibly incorrect spelling?), and remember to eat some fruit, veggies and drink plenty of water to keep yourself fairly healthy and hydrated

also you might want to pick up welfare benefits or something to pay your addiction...

i dont speak from experiences i never tried this before but i imagine you could send yourself to a early grave. Unless you take care of yourself better then the stereotyped harcore gamers do

You were misinformed then. Not only is there pvp, but its 3 faction pvp.

Fact:  Great looking games dont always make for a "great" game.  I expect two out of the these three will probably be polished turds.

Tera will go by with flyin colors[i think] (seeing as i participated in the sneak beak event and got to try it out). But whats going to become of Guild Wars 2 and the others is still unclear, seeing as i dont think any of them have had a single beta test,

The way MMOs are going these days, chances are you going to hate at least two out of three.

To be honest I don't like the look of tera, it looks like it might be a swtor style on the rails game. That and some of the character models are somewhat weird for western tastes.
  • faxnadufaxnadu Member UncommonPosts: 940

simple, try them all and pick the one you like the most job done.

I have played GW2 and have no worries whatsoever. As for the beta, well the press are in beta as we speak, along with family and friends. On the 20th of this month we will get some press previews of their time in the beta so look forward to that date.

As for ArcheAge,i will be playing that game as soon as it hits europe although the Russians already have a publisher.

Tera is a good mmo and similar to GW2 when it comes to combat although GW2 can be played like any other MMO with tab targetting and the other dodge and target features as well,it gives the best of both worlds.

GW2 is very fluid compared to Tera which feels a bit twitchie but is still very good indeed.
