Aeria Games has announced that its sci-fi MMOFPS, Repulse, has officially launched into retail service. Repulse offers players a visceral PvP and PvE environment in which to game. To celebrate the launch, the dev team has added four brand new maps and a ton of new moves and a second server for lag-free play.

Is this game a grindfest like all their other games?
it is your standard FPS. its an old game with some teaks. It was called Genesis A.D and published by IJJI a while ago. I think they made some changes now it reopened with Aeria Games. It was fun and smooth before so i may play it again from Aeria. Free to play FPS tend to be all the same but i had more fun with this one over the other ones.
Does this have rented weapons?
it had before, so it will probably have now as well (maybe)... i hope not
Horrible animations..
not a MMO..
Everything I say is my opinion or personal preference. You may or may not find it useful to your cause but regardless I am entitled to it.
all the free to play hackers and aimbotters will flock to this why bother?
and even for a small shooter this game is complete garbage, stay away from this one
The game is actually extremely fun atm. Not sure how long it will last but since everything in game is purchasable with both AP (the cash currency) and in-game credits, the system seems somewhat balanced between spenders and non spenders. I guess its the closest thing to what league of legends has reached in the realm of first person shooters.
The gameplay itself is really what is making me stick to the game. I was a big unreal tournament 2004 player, I LOVED air dodging and the typical (hate on) bunny hopping, wall jumping, twitch based shooter gameplay. The video really doesn't do the game justice.
This is the only free to play game I have stuck to besides league of legends.
Oh and they are actually in the works with MLG to make competitive tournaments (atleast thats the word from the Game Masters). I found that EXTREMELY surprising considering its a free to play game but meh, the gameplay alone will make it possible - I just hope that they can stay on top of hacks and lag issues.
My hands haven't been on the actual game so it may not be a judgement i should make, but that video did not do the game any favors. I'll agree with previous posters as on paper, this simply doesn't even qualify to be on this website, however there are other games listed on this website that don't fit the description either. Regardless...meh. Not my cup of tea.
