WildStar: Meet the Granok

BillMurphyBillMurphy Managing EditorBerea, OHPosts: 3,650MMORPG.COM Staff Epic

It's WildStar Week here at, and we've partnered with Carbine Studios and NCsoft to bring you a week of exclusive articles and interviews with the characters of WildStar itself. Today we meet the Granok, a huge hulking mercenary with a bit of a chip on his soldier.

MMORPG.COM: So tell me a little about yourself.

Sarge: Me? Not much to tell. Just a workin’ stiff tryin’ to make his way out there in the big, bad galaxy. You know how it is.

MMORPG.COM: And by ‘working’ you mean being a mercenary, correct?

Sarge: Well I ain’t talkin’ about pickin’ flowers, buddy.

MMORPG.COM:  *Laughs* Why don’t you talk about your line of work?

Sarge: Sure. I mean, basically I get paid to crack skulls. Battles. War. That kind of thing. Anytime, anywhere. Lock and load, baby. Slag ‘em, tag ‘em, and bag ‘em.

Try to be excellent to everyone you meet. You never know what someone else has seen or endured.

Well done indeed. Also, I'm really enjoying the art direction this game has taken.

Pixar meets MMO meets role play interviews. I'm interested.

Everything I say is my opinion or personal preference. You may or may not find it useful to your cause but regardless I am entitled to it.

I like where they're going with this one, weaving storyline into the game rather than being completely expositional about it. I'll be keeping an eye on this game.

There's something more than meets the eye with this interview too! I've popped a little tip up on the coverage at my fansite - WildStar Central. :)

Wow, very good interview. Haven't seen this kind of RP in an MMO for a long time. I hope that translates to the game itself as well.

imagine if the animated that whole conversation :)

LFD tools are great for cramming people into content, but quality > quantity.
I am, usually on the sandbox .. more "hardcore" side of things, but I also do just want to have fun. So lighten up already :)
