LFG - MMORPG

Hello,

I'm looking for a new game. I used to play Outwar a lot, but it has since changed from when I loved it. I'm looking for an MMO that has the following charictaristics:

1. Large, active player base.

2. Guilds/crews/clans.

3. Heavy emphasis on PvP throughout the game (at least as much as it has on PvE), preferrably wars between guilds.

4. Equippable items/gear.

5. Various character classes, but not an overwhelming variety (including varying stats).

6. Can be 3D or text-based.

7. FREE!! And preferrbly no download, but I'll download if I have to.

I'm up for trying anything that can fill most of these requirements. Thanks for any recommendations!

    After looking over sites about Guild Wars, I'm not sure it's what I'm looking for. From what I could gather, the PvE and PvP were completely separate from each other, and I'm looking for something a bit more intertwined.

    ACE Online meets each of your criteria, and exceeds them. If you're a fan of 3d MMO Space shooters.

    Warhammer has a never ending trial for the first tier which is crowded. You can start PVP at level one by just entering the battlegrounds as you run around for the quest tracker. I don't see you playing for longer than a month if you aren't going to pay anything though. Guildwars I have played about 10-20 min a day since it came out . ... so its well worth the money.

    Lineage II just went f2p, has an active community and is significantly PVP oriented.

    Ken Fisher - Semi retired old fart Network Administrator, now working in Network Security.  I don't Forum PVP.  If you feel I've attacked you, it was probably by accident.  When I don't understand, I ask.  Such is not intended as criticism.

    Are there any alternative downloads for this other than NCsofts downloader....id love to play it, but not willing to sit through there slow @ss downloader!!!
