Best MMORPG?

in The Pub at MMORPG.COM

im looking to buy a mmorpg and will more than likely buy EQ2 but is there any other suggestions out there?

    well i suggest that you DO wait for eqii, but until then, maybe try out Planetside, it is also by SOE, do u can count on it not being crappy

    im also waiting for eqii, and im also an ex eq playerimage

    I played on Vallons zek.

    but my characters weren't that high of levels

    it is REALLY hard leveling a shammy....so i only got to 31image

     

    and ex eq player friend, just bought eq again in july.....he is LEVEL 51!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and he ONLY has like 20 days on his char!

    he must have gotten Power leveled cuz thats almost impossible btw i was a guild leader on...ahh crap forgot server anyways thanx for your reply

    yea np...but it's crazy...he's freeking urber in ONE month, lol

    I have played UO, AC, and am still playing EQ now (54 warrior Vangard on Bristlebane) and I will be dropping it all for Horizons when it comes out as well as City of Heroes. I have been watching them both for quite some time and have been impressed by what I see. Both should be excellent.

    WoW looks good, but it the pics that I have seen so far look too much like a comic for me for this type of game. Maybe thats just the Warcraft look. I rarely played the Warcraft series.
