Ignited Games has announced that it is accepting beta applications for its upcoming vampire MMO called Dark Eden. According to press information, Dark Eden is a throwback to the "golden age of MMOs, featuring classic hack-and-slash action and isometric 2D visuals."
To celebrate the game's announcement, the dev team has opened an official site where players can check out the three available races, Vampire, Slayer and Ouster.
Check out the Dark Eden site.

How do they come up with 2D visuals being the golden age of MMO's? I think their marketing department is from the dark ages.

Nevermind, sucks, goodbye!
There's a certain humor in describing a vampire game as 'sucking.'
There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

Vampires tend to be very conveinent for giving words to describe my dislike for them.

I love this game because it runs on my laptop, unlike Online games out there~ I can now play a cool game on-the-go! woohoo! Thanks Ignited Games.
I already signed up and it seems that the game client download isnt availabe yet. I'll wait until they start the CBT. I'll gonna play as Earth Type Ouster.
My god now the mmo companies are catering to the Twilight crowd.

I played this game back in 2003 or 2004 and I didn't play for very long back then. I doubt anything would change my mind now.
It was a unqiue setting, with the same ol' same ol' grind until you die mechanics with very unappealing combat. Extremely cookie cutter with a unique setting.
I love this game XD

I miss the MMORPG genre. Will a developer ever make one again?
