I have the Sentinel's of Fate dvds. Would it be best to install from those and patch or download from their site instead?

DVD much faster. But what makes you want to return? I just think there are more better ways to waste your money then on EQ2 right now. But if you return, good luck.

I stopped beating my head against a wall with WOW and am now playing EQ2 and I love it!!

There is sooooo much in this game.  There is no game on the market with the depth of this game, none!

I found a good low level guild that I am excited about.  I will be able to help level it up which means i am a contributor which is something I am driven to do.

I have recently discovered housing in this game.  I can see myself spending countless hours on that.....and I am not into decorating but the fact that I can build a shrine for myself and all my glory...he!! yeah!!!

Started playing Eq2 with my girlfriend and HOLY @#$#. Its come so far since release. I honestly feel more depth in one zone then I felt in half the games Ive played lately. Mind you Rifts a close second in some cases. The problem is, some of the depth in Rift seems stale compared to eq2. I dunno..Im happy now with a game. THAT FEELS ODD!

Eq2 has good depth but be sure to use the guild finder and get a good guild as cities are empty since you can do everything in guild halls now
