During last week's Gamescom, MMORPG.com's John Milburn had the opportunity for some quality hands on time with En Masse Entertainment's TERA. See what John's impressions of the game are in his latest Gamescom report. Let us know what you think in the comments.
The level started off in the dungeon "Necromancy Cell", a dark catacomb-styled area with tight passages and large open rooms. We played as a team of five and had a chance to try out the slayer class, one of the eight classes available in the game. We did also play as a sorcerer and made some really nasty fireballs to toast the monsters we encountered.

Apparently the TERA team thinks we can go on what they've been giving us the whole time...screenshots. Yawn. When are they not posting screens. Don't even care anymore.

lol avatar... only by a few mins...
Thanks! He's all over this and GW2, which is what I'm looking at as well.
Imo TB had better coverage of the games at GamesCom than many of the proffesional sites.
I think the combat is very impressive. What I cannot believe is they spent all this time on the combat and customization and then lock the characters into specific weapons? What the heck, I just don't get the thought process. Instead of gender lock they have a weapon lock lol, how original.
Here are the videos that the mmorpg.com writer was talking about. I recomend any Tera fan to watch them .

To the caterpillar it is the end of the world, to the master, it is a butterfly.
