Pirates of the Burning Sea: Anniversary Update to Deploy

Pirates of the Burning Sea will be updated today to v2.2.83.0, aka the Anniversary Update. The update will prepare servers for the third anniversary celebration scheduled to begin on January 22nd. New content has been added, San Juan, Spain's capital city, has been updated, and new pets have been added to Treasure Aisle. In addition, bug fixes, enhancements and improvements have been included for deployment when the patch goes live later today.
Happy Anniversary to Pirates of the Burning Sea! We celebrate our 3rd Anniversary on 1/22/2011. This is quite an achievement and we’ve added some fun new content to celebrate. Look for the Royal Society representative in your starter town or nation’s capital for the mission / mini-games. Completing these will grant you a new coat. For a limited time only, a black cockatoo is available in Treasure Aisle as is a monkey dressed for celebration!

Even blind men seen when everyone jumped this ship a long time ago. Hence the free-to-play gimmick. Any population counts before f2p were due to Station Access numbers being included.

Its obvious that you do not have the game installed. The server load is always at least Heavy for Very Heavy for all Nations no matter what time of the day it is. Population is definately not an issue since F2P happend... and let me tell you that POTBS has the best F2P model out of any game that went P2P to F2P.

Well I started playing before f2p hit and it seemed like enough blindmen were on the ship for me -chat was active always saw players playing when I logged on so it mattered not to met what "numbers" game was played.I dont need to know "12 million subscribers" nor care just need it not to be a ghost town which it wasnt.
