here is how i see it, dont hate on what others like. its not your place to tell them what is wrong, seccond this game does not need to have sex in it at all. infact it wont, instead it would just be a furry person, and i know alot of furry people (its not sexy tho)

can we steer away from sex. this topic issint abotu haveing sex with athropramophic's its about a mnmo consiting of furries, which cant have sex in it.
A game with things like Medusa, Minotaur and Anubis would be kinda neat in my opinion. I mean, a half-snake that turns her opponents to stone with a look, a bull-man that feed on human flesh and a death-god..? Thats ok to me.
Unfortunately, to me it seems that the sexual-fixation-furriness has become almost entirely dominating. A game with loads of human/animal hybrids is pretty likely to turn into "a furry yiffpit" as someone put it.
In WoW I played the Tauren. I felt that the combination of a bull and a man made for quite a ferocious looking character that could overpower something like a gnome without even thinking. That's the extent of anthromorphism I tolerate.

now thats your opinion. but nothing was sad about yiffing or anything, just people in a fantasy setting being atnropramorphic. personally i like to play humans and thats it. but i can see why some people may want to.
you are also the prime example of furryhate btw.

I don't have an aversion to playing an anthropomorphic character. In EQ I spent a lot of time playing an Iksar (lizardman) monk and a Vah Shir (catman) beastlord. I don't have a fetish for them though. I wouldn't particularly care to socialize with people who do, and would probably stay away from an MMO that attracts a high concentration of furries.
Here guys for all the furry haters.....Made me spit out my drink reading some of the shit was funny as hell and it's ringing true on this very post.

ya but that game is old, and it accually has mods that has yiff in it..... that really does not help. and i gotta say its really creepy... kinda made me quit the game instantly. it really has no point btw but to do things people make.its hardly a game ...

Re-read the OP, re-read it again, then a few more times. The post is about an MMO that would be set in a sonic/star fox/battle toads type setting. for gods sake did no one ever watch the old disney Robin Hood cartoon? the Redwall book series?
Its sad so much of our community is completely ignorent to an issue like this. I'd expect this kind of talk from the people who think video games cause gang violence, not from the people who play them.

Furries are not the same as beastiality, and second there is nothing wrong with either.
But on topic, I do not think it will work. As much as people complain about humans being boring a large portion of game communities play humans or something very similar, like elves. A game with just anthropomorphic characters is purely a niche thing, you need humans and human like races if you want larger appeal. If you notice there are a lot of games with the option to make anthropomorphic characters, (EQ, EQ2, WoW, FFXI, CoX ...) but none consisting solely of anthropomorphic characters.
