    not long ago I went back to the site to try and get another key for my son and there was a general announcemt up that open beta was now closed.

    If you close an open beta it becomes a closed beta. Just like if you close an open door it becomes a closed door.

    I think I read on Massively.com that closed beta is over. Open beta will begin some time in June.

    Hmmm...can't find article, but I'm sure I read that somewhere.
