F2P Turned based MMORPG please

Here I am again looking for a rare turned-based mmorpg. I say this because it feels more like an rpg and gameplay doesn't seem so shoddy. Other things I'm looking for include decent character creation(more than just "face and hair options preferred)", 3-5- class(advancements a big +),, and finally a focus on PVE(I'm not here to fight players or get beaten up by them, good old monsters are fine for me.). If its avoidable at all please try not to recommend an older game.
Please just help out here, I mean just make an effort. Thank for you for reading and hopefully your future assistance.

Elaborate please, I never said a thing about a Strategic MMORPG. Although I'll admit that was good choice, and qutie obvious choice.
Yeah, i'm thinking that Atlantica will be your best choice for a F2P turn-based MMO, though i can't think of any other at the moment, probably because they sucked.
You sure? I mean, Alantica Online is freaking 2GBs, and quite personally I'd rather have somone whos played the game reccomend it. So have you?
The only turn based mmo I know of is Dofus. It doesn't really fit your requirements but give it a try.

2G isn't really alot, maybe 15 mins?or if you ahve bad internet an hour?and i would definetly go with atlantica
2GB is lot for me, my network is horrible, it would take 20 hrs or more. Seriously, what kind of mega computer can do 2 GB in 15 minutes.
My friend can do that in under 3 mins
, 20 hours for 2 gig is like what 10kb/sec?andwell you oculd use firefox and then lve it on overnight and then pause, do rest other night
your friend can download 2 gigs in 3 minutes? thats 11 mb a second. What kind of internet connection is that?

You know I got banned for saying stuff like that. How come, other people use the F word, and troll and rant and they seem to go scott free? I'm seriously under the impression that there is admin abuse or favoritism on these forums.
oh and since you didn't give an explanation of why Dofus is bad, and use foul language some mod should ban you.

There isnt a turn based game out that meets all your requirments, so you are stuck with either Dofus (wich you dont like) or Atlantica.
I tried Atlantica even though im not into turn based games and found it to be ok (just ok) you would probably like it more because you already like turn based fighting systems. Atlantica is also doing very well at the moment and the community has shot up in size very quickly, so it must be getting somthing right.
It took me about an hour to download and i dont regret it even though i have no uninstalled it, i did enjoy it for a few days but i found the turn based style was starting to grate on me.
So yeah Atlantica is your best option at the moment.

@Garrik-Alantica Online sounds awesome, even though my rates are low, I've heard nothing but good things about Alantica, so I guess I'll give it a go.

its all about internet speed, get fios im getting 40mbps download rate,

if u have dial up connection. still try downloading atlantica online. it worth it.
Let anwser that with one word-No! Text-based games are NOT mmorpgs. They have no graphics, no real player interaction, their just cheap web games from companies that have no money.
I'd much rather play Alantica if thats all you have to recommend.
Try wonderland online, stoneage 2, and atlantica i feel is a fad that is going to fade once their contests and whatever have you are gone,..try looking at older games water margin is well different, but an option.
Sorry I tried Wonderland Online and Stone Age 2, they both suck. Water Margin I'll see what it has to offer. I might just end up playing Ragnorak Online since it recently became free because of Valkyrie server. I don't remember if was turn-based or not but I believe it was to some extent, it doesn't really matter it was a ton of fun when I played it like 4 years ago. Back then I remember getting like cut-off after like 4 days of a 2-week subscribtion
,yeah I was pissed.
I really suggst Atlantica Online. I started playing it with low hopes of it beying any good after beying tired of WoW. I was amazed by it. Its like Final Fantasy's style of play. Of course there is strategy to it when you PvP but it isnt too hard to figure out. The leveling is SUPER easy, I was around level 20-22 my first day.
Atlantica is worth the download level 21 so far and in love with it. I can see myself having REAL FUN in this game not just grind but FUN!
Its like Final Fantasy,eh? I hear a lotta people spreading this around, but what exactly does that mean?
