Is there any other way to change your hair in the game?..other than the one time you can go random?? (Which btw was a big mistake that left me redhead & pigtails like a 10 yr old... BLEH
)

i havnt played maple story in a while but i believe there is a quest that gives you one random cashshop hair
There is a quest in Amoria that will give a coupon that will give you a random hairstyle. You need 25 slime gels to complete it, it also gives you 5k exp. There's a website called maplefantasia.com that shows what hairstyles you can get from the quest.
Other than that, you have to buy a hair coupon from the cash shop.
I belive the random thing is amoria quest? Try to become something with a huge hat? Its impossable they make these things to make you pay the money. No one could help unless i'd be willing to gift you a hair coupon. 0-o

There isn't a single way to change your hair for free other then that quest.
If you want to get an other hair style, you will have to get NX-cash.
Also i suggest you don't buy that cash, seeming i've put alot in it aswell and it's kinda hard to stop.

Sadly, there is no way to change you hair but with Nx cash which is bought by real cash. There are some events that give you maple points as a reward in sometimes of the year, these points can be used as Nx, but it takes a long time to acquire the amount of cash you need and there is no regular event that rewards maple points. There is also the trade system where you can sell loot for Nx, but i haven't tried it
