After weeks of experimenting with driver versions, graphical settings, reformats - I have finally discovered the cause to my Warhammer crashes.
Initially, Windows Vista would reboot without uttering a word about the catastrophic failure. I lucked out on my last crash and it decided to throw an explanation upon bootup. Despite getting graphical freezes, followed by a black screen, Vista reports it as a BSOD and shows the following:

When clicking on the "Check for Solution" button on the dialog box, it threw me this:
Check for NVIDIA Graphics Driver updates
This problem was caused by NVIDIA Graphics Driver, which was created by NVIDIA Corporation. There is no solution for this problem at this time.
My drivers are the most up-to-date on all my hardware components. My temperatures are fine. This appears to be a driver issue / incompatibility with the game.
I attempted to track down the files it referenced so I can submit them to Mythic, but only the .dmp was available. I am posting my DXdiag in hopes that Mythic developers follow community boards around the 'net since they don't have their own official boards.
I am attempting to log this as a bug to both Mythic and nVidia, but EA requires that I log in with a separate EA account, completely detached from my Mythic account. Just seems more strenuous than it should be.

I have a NVIDIA graphics card (9500GT) and the game runs flawlessly..Have played this game for probably 20 hours allready...with 0 problems. I would suggest getting the latest graphics drivers as the error you posted above suggested...
nVidia's 8-Series are known for their issues. I think you are safe with your 9-series. 4GB of RAM also causes issues with newer games, as does Vista (LOTRO anyone?).

Vista 64, 4 gigs of ram, dual 8800gts here. No problems when I played LoTRO and no problems with WAR.
I did have a LoTRO problem at first, turns out I just didn't have a big enough PSU and when LoTRO would push me up to full load I would crash.
haha, I have a Dell Inspiron 531, Athlon 64 x2 3800+ 2.0 ghz (512kx2) processor with an NVidia 7300 LE video card. That card is not even listed on the Mythic site as supported for this game.
As you all can see this pc is not even close to being a gaming pc. Know what? It plays the game just fine. WOOT!!!! LOL

Hey, I said I could play the game fine, didn't say I could turn everything up to it's highest and play fine. lol
Seriously tho, I turn it all up and have small issues but it looks the same turned up or down to me. I really don't like this games settings. WOW had good graphic settings I have to admit. The settings for this game are kinda elementary and very much on a smallish and undetailed scale.
The problem is that their chips are failing and they're facing lawsuit after lawsuit from vendors. It began with chipsets, but same components have been used in 8, 9, and even 2xx series.
