If you wait to do something until the last minute, your more efficient since it will only take 1 minute.

    But.. is their playerbase growing?
Or a new server will only help scattering the playerbase?

They make new servers every now and then this is because older servers  offer little oppurtinuity to lower ranked players to ever be a member of a high end guild.

You can be 60 in EQ and not have a chance for a high end guild new servers make this possible.

    OMFG...

They are charging $75 to move a character from one server to another.  That is funny.  They probably just enter your name into a program and it is done 5 seconds later.  And they want $112.50 to move a character from one account to another.  This function probably take 7 seconds...

That is ridiculous.  Anything for money.

Never underestimate the power of a fresh server.

There are loads of 65s who have yet to get into the high end game and they will gladly pay the money because of the stress of building a level 65 char.

Once there they have a good chance of been recruited by a guild which might  be able to compete for the high end game.

Now it is a risk.I knew a few folks and whole guilds that moved to new servers and did not fare better in a new server.

But if you are lucky to get into a guild not run by some 12 year old claiming to be an adult, you have a goos shot on establishing on a new server.

I personally think its not worth it but hey just saying why many do and will do it.
