    Meh.

    I might check that out, but I would prefer and gladly wait for a new Star Wars MMO (as long as it is not developed by SOE) built from the ground up.

    So tempting but then logic kicks in (dam for logic) how about we break all fingures of anyone from LA who touched SWG too, so they can never touch it again .

    Since SW is LA's IP i guess i'll just stick happy at - I VOTE NO FOR SWG pre-ANYTHING - ive found games are well made have 98% bugs fixed and cant be changed to fit the next gen players comming into the market

    It's in the works.  It's called the SWG Emulator Project.

    Let's provide a few corrections here.

    Built from the ground up?  Should be changed to stolen from an old game.

    Not involved with LA just translates to the fact that it won't really be a Star Wars game or that it will risk being shut down by LA.

    Game fixes decided by the people on your server?  I don't support that in the least.  Mob rule FTW?  No thanks.

    Free?  You get what you pay for.

    No risk of all your progress being thrown out the window on a whim?  A company has to consider the fact that if they make drastic changes that there might be reprisals in terms of lost revenue.  A person running a emulation sever doesn't even have that much of a concern.  I'd say that the risk is even greater in an emulation.

    The SWGemu devs have saved us???  I don't see an emulation anywhere right now.  Come back and praise them when they deliver.

    I would not want back pre-CU if the same company handeled it. That would be pretty much a shame for me to play a game brought back through all the positive critique the company promised but litteraly went down the drain.

    SOE doesn't deserve to get anymore money for what they succeeded to do with old good SWG.

    It would be against my honor to go back to SOE again ...

    What if another company could adopt the concept of SWG? I believe that could be SWG's only hope ... until then, I don't think I will play any more MMORPG's ... they are all ... boring in compareance to old SWG...
