https://crowfall.com/en/news/articles/founders-update-mid-year-check-point-2018/ Although Crowfall has made and is making a lot of progress, it will not meet it's soft launch goal for 2018. I'm definitely bummed about it, but if it's the best decision for the game and they keep moving forward, then I can't be too disappointed.
Let me sugarcoat it a bit (info from the same source):
-they expect alpha to start at the end of summer; -a deal was signed with the future Russian distributor; -...aaand they licensed their MMO tech to another company!?

PS MMORPG.com already has a big "official" thread about this - https://www.mmorpg.com/crowfall/news/soft-launch-pushed-to-2019-russian-distributor-found-and-engine-licensed-to-another-company-1000048862
