This is clearly using Lineage Eternal engine and gameplay.
LE was most likely scrapped, and its assets are reused.

In any case this looks awesome, and like something I would gladly play.... in 10 years when its released in west

too bad its NCSoft it looks good, but they will f it up
It might be good but its almost guaranteed that it'll be optimized like garbage. They have a knack for most of their games being poorly optimized for some reason. Wildstar seems to run the best for me the brief time I played oddly enough.

    Looks awesome, I'm in.

Knight guy's head looked a little small for his body in that last scene.

It's almost as if fantasy is an entire genre with multiple subgenres based on centuries of human history or something.

@TalulaRose lol, when they show something being actual footage, either that is engine/in-game, that's the visuals, assets, etc... of what actually releases.

Unlike CGI, where it's purposedly cinematic, also pre-rendered stuff, that is not gameplay. That said I'll take the point you were trying to make as pointless when it comes to what is misrepresentative here lol.

I wonder if this is what Pappy and the rest of the Carbine crew are working on - the Western release of this.

oh it seems that today is the day that you and I just don't agree and we go back and forth.

However, I can at least acknowledge that the fantasy genre is done a lot. But it's not "overdone" as that is the only genre I ever buy for the most part. I never stick with science fiction (unless it's a 4x game) and horror is a tough one for developers to get right.

Most likely others but they never interest me. So point being, I think there are a lot of other people in the same boat.

Hey you made a statement it's perfectly fine for people to comment on that statement.

Also "sub genres" are different as far as tone, the world, how the characters interact with that world.

Otherwise no matter what genre it is you are going to be "fighting mobs".

Shall we invite the mobs over for tea and biscuits then? Or romance them and make a litter of horrible abominations.

It looks good, but NCSoft has done so much talk and produced zero Lineage results for years that I'm having a hard time caring. When they can show they have the ability to really pull it off then I'll get excited.

The brain has a tendency to form a habit that can last a lifetime.
Expanding ones life experiences in the long run creates a happier person and (I find this int resting) the perception of time slows down, or rather the memory of your past.

Never the less, when people get in a rut they sometimes are not aware of what they are missing. 'talking outside of the box' turns into conversations about one handed blade vs two handed blade and all the other wonderful things that are possible are overlooked.

    does that make sense?

Yeah but people get different experiences outside of video games. "Video Games" should just be one aspect of a varied life.
