Soundtrack to be Remastered by European Orchestras - Black Desert Online - MMORPG.com

Black Desert Online News - Kakao Games and PearlAbyss have announced that the Black Desert Online soundtrack is headed for a complete remaster at the hands of the National Orchestra of Halle in Germany as well as orchestras from Prague and Budapest. The newly recorded and re-arranged tracks, all 240 of them, will replace the original MIDI soundtrack.

Lol! These devs need to get there priorities in order, the translation in BDO is horrible, it's like being in a world of five year olds.. and they are remastering music... WTF! Do not buy the game, it's so shallow and poorly localized, that it's not even worth 10$

In my opinion it was worth much more than $10.  I have played it for over a year with friends and while I do admit the localization needs work, I have never found it distracting enough to stop playing or make a post about it.

I happen to love orchestra music and think this would add a nice touch to the game.

There are definitely worse translations.

Having said that I'm pretty sure that they budget for various parts of a project so they must have extra money in this budget/part of the project, to do this.

Yeah out of those two on sound cloud one sounds great, the other is meh, I more like the Arche Age main theme better.



Even Lineage 2 has great ones.



I could understand if they make more and maybe use the battle theme in game or certain cutscenes but having such music throughout the game would drive me nuts...

players : the pvp balance is in shambles and has been utter shit since awakening, please do something about it because the class disparity makes siege and node wars an awful mess with 'whoever has more witchards wins'.
devs : lets remaster the soundtrack !

i like good music as much as the next guy but come on ... get your damn priorities straight

This has nothing to do with developers. Unless you are under the impression that they are all going to leave their desks and start playing the instruments themselves...? Once they receive those sound files, it'll be super simple for them to put them in game. So this takes away nothing from ongoing development time. You might as well scream at their graphical artists for the same reason, and it'll do you just as much good. It's not their area.
