Star Citizen News - The latest Around the Verse has been published that gives viewers a full half hour of all things Star Citizen. In the latest episode, Chris Roberts and Sandi Gardiner speak about the new community platform called Spectrum. In addition, they give a brief preview of the Anvil Hurricane a "concept fighter ship". Lastly, the pair sneak in a "special preview" at the end of the broadcast. See what you think!

    Please enough already, How about... Just release a f'in game? This has to be the largest con job of our time.

    They better hurry up with this because it is looking like the window of opportunity for Sandi to fall back on her past career in fetish porn is closing rapidly. I'm sure pretending to make a game using fanboy money pays better, but that can't last forever either.

    The amount of "un-sponsored" articles/threads this game gets is amazing.

    That made no sense... on the reverse side there are plenty of crap games that weren't rushed to market..

    Another ship?  Perhaps they should focus on actually finishing the game before they add fluff.  Let's face it Chris, you are in way over your head and no amount of talking will alleviate that fact.  It is getting close to put up or shut up time!

    See!!! Exactly!!! So why would you rush out a game if we can't even do it well when it's not rushed? 

    Did it not make sense because bad games aren't exclusive to their timeline? Or is my analogy going over your head? It's not literal, by the way, it's just an expression. I would never shit in my hand.

    Every time I see a Star Citizen article the first thing that comes to mind is "fake news."

    Not exactly fluff though given that ships have specs associated with them. Not saying they need as many ships but in some games it would be akin to "another class".

    Whilst it is true that there is no game today suggesting that there won't be a game is akin to the proverbial King Canute trying to hold back the tide.

    It is going to happen. Whether it will be a "good" game remains to be seen.

    Those with no interest should really move on. Although I have said for a while that the buzz generated by detractors has generated a huge amount of publicity. So maybe it would be good if the naysayers could stick around a little longer?

    There's already been one and there's one coming up as well.
    Say what you want about their content releases but they're never late on their ship sales ;)

    Are you aware they already admitted they have no funds to make SC...?

    Currently, MVP of SQ42 that somewhat works is likely the best you can hope for.

    IF the funding stopped today, what is clearly not happening. So there's a constant stream of money that keeps funding SC.

    It clarifies the statement instead of cheap fear mongering wouldn't you agree? ;)

    When people say "What game?" I always take it as a poke to the current state of the game.
    5-6 years later and we still have something like a couple of hours worth of content (at a stretch).

    Of course some form of the game is going to eventually happen.. it's just taking a really long time and noone can accurately tell what kind of gameplay we're going to have.
    Lots of potential though.

    No, it keeps funding that MVP of SQ42...that is how they have money for SQ42 and not SC.

    I thought this was the other way around, wasn't it? If the funding stopped today they could finish SC with the SQ42 budget? Maybe I'm wrong. I know what you're talking about though, it was in an article on the Interwebs. 

    I just remember being like "Noooooooo!!!!!" because SQ42 is the main reason I'm waiting for this. Maybe I mis-read it at the time, though. It's been known to happen.

    Yeah, you are wrong. He said they have money for SQ42, not for SC.

    SC is currently out of their reach.
