I may be wrong, but they just say ¨300 hs¨ of new content?.

DLC or Expansion. Does not really matter what label you put on it. It is new content.
Dying Light The Following is an expansion of the base game but many just call it DLC.
I think all this posturing over a label is silly.
Yeah as long as you can sub to get the new stuff, it's no different to me than anything in the past.
But you can't lol... that's the whole point of calling it an expansion and not a DLC.

meh, still wont support a game with a cash shop like this one has.  30 bag slots only $25 .. get out.  I could almost buy conan exiles .. not be able to play it multiplayer and feel like I got more for my money.

So much QQ because of 40$. 3 Battlegrounds, biggest zone in the map, new class, 1 trial. Some of the people complaining here probably already bought a mount for more than 40$. It's easy, if you think you can't afford it, don't buy it. Very easy.

You missed your chance to call the warden's bear a "grizzly veteran." For shame!

300hs means you can spend that time doing whatever in the new zone. That doesn't mean it has 300hs of new/fresh content. When i finish Skyrim's main storyline i was at 308hs. That doesn't mean it had that many hours of new content either.

Consuming content takes time, after you see everything Morrowind has to offer you will be doing it over and over for 300+hs. Just like every mmo out there.

EDIT: they probably had a typo, everyone here talks about 30hs, not 300 so yeah. That seems more realistic.

While a return to Morrowind - technically those parts not already in the game - is indeed exciting news, the fact that they decided to re-brand this DLC as an "expansion" despite having little more in it than previous offerings called DLC (e.g. Orsinium) is leaving a sour taste in my mouth.

I'm starting to feel like I'm getting over-marketed in ESO.

Morrowind is twice the size of Orsinium. Not even comparable.

Orsinium was marketed as 20 hours... definitely comparable.

"Orsinium, ESO's largest DLC game pack to date, features a colossal new zone with over 20 hours of story content, a new single-player monster arena, new public dungeons, and much more!"

This expansion is going to have over 30 hours of just quest content. Not counting all the hours in the new PvP option which will finally kill the bad idea that was a PvP cyrodil.

The land mass is double so plenty more exploring to be done.

Orsinium was big but it pales in comparison.

We shall see how it compares to Orsinium when they actually show the map... until then, tomahto.

If they added an Auction House *(instead of the current guild store system), THAT would complete me! LOL.   I know THAT isn't gonna happen.  I can't believe they didn't consider an AH when it came out.

Meh, sounds ok, but not all orgasmic like some are making it out to be. No AH means I ll still stay away. With guilds being useless, why not just do an AH.

The fact that you think guilds are useless tells me you haven't actually bothered to look into guilds. Guilds are far, far more useful in ESO than they are in almost any other MMO of its kind; the restriction of AH-like trade to guild functionality enables this. I'm in three trading guilds, and after getting used to the set up I far prefer it to impersonal and diffusing AH offerings.

As long as the auction houses are per region, then yeah.

    No global AH though.

Opinions vary, I think they suck. Every guild I ve been in has no point to them, except for trading. I hate the design especially for people like me who own a restaurant, and sometimes can t log in for a week. I get booted all the time, because of this. I ll say it again, to me and a lot of people I have talked to , it sucks.

Looks good. I sub to ESO because so far it has a system that makes it worth it. This departure from the DLC model is disheartening but if it is a true expansion it will be worth it. If it is a content piece the size of a previous DLCs and just a new class then it is not worth the price. This is kind of the double edge sword of a game where classes are so flexible, new classes add novelty not real need or utility. Either way, ESO is a great game and has my money till something better shows up.

I just got kicked from one of my 3 trading guilds because I've played only casually for the last couple of weeks and didn't add new items for sale (they have a pretty minimal sell 1.000 g per week policy.) Luckily the guild accountants for the other two weren't as eager :)

I have 2 guilds for playing PVP and PVE that function more like what we're used to calling guilds. But the game pretty well requires you to join 3 trading guilds to get anything sold unless your idea of fun is spamming zone chat.

I can sort of understand the anti-inflationary reasons for not having an AH but the lack of one sure as hell is not a "community" building kind of thing as some like to argue.

Wouldn't that have more to do with the guilds you are joining?

I mean, "I hear you" I've joined trading guilds, not logged into a few days and discovered I was kicked. But since those specific guilds were trading guilds it really wasn't a big deal.

However, if you are joining a guild that is not a trading guild and they are kicking you that speaks more about the guilds you choose to join. Clearly the guild leader and officers are not in touch with their members.

Perhaps if you joined a small guild that knew your circumstances, perhaps a family guild or a guild that has been around for a while and that is picky on members, you would have a different experience.

Or start your own casual guild as I bet there are other people exactly in your shoes.

I must have missed Orsinium's added class.  You can play the game for FREE after you buy it.  People will bitch about anything.

This entire site has become a bunch of complainers.  I use to come every day.  I now come about once, maybe twice a month and its the same crap.

I understand opinions but Christ.  Does any company make a suitable game for you people.  Try RPG maker.   At least then you can complain to the source.

Oh so it's dusting off the old beta Warden that's the defining characteristic of an expansion... good to know.

    But no, it won't be.

The Warden comes with Morrowind and is not part of the base game. Only those that own Morrowind will be able to create a Warden.

I am aware of the posted writing. Yet it does not change my opinion that I believe all owners of the game should have access to the new class.

No disagreement from me. Same with new 4v4v4 battlegrounds. That will also be a Morrowind-only exclusive.

Hey they had to find enough to throw in there to sell the idea that this is an expansion and not a DLC :)

    You're hilariously mad about this.

To the point of completely missing everything and just being blinded by rage.

Morrowind is most definitely a full on expansion. Its double the size of Orsinium, adds a new storyline to the game, adds three 4v4v4 battlegrounds, adds a new way to start off in the game, adds a new class, and adds a new trial.

In literally any other MMO this is an expansion. Actually, this is exactly a World of Warcraft expansion. New class? Check. New area? Check. New endgame? Check. Expansion.

So quit your baseless raging and grow up.

Oh it's double the size now? It just keeps on growing... lol.

I've got a can of special super Pepsi called Pepsi+. I'll let it go for $20... you interested?

Lol kinda funny how that's the only argument you can provide.

You know you're wrong but you're so butthurt you can't admit it.

Look kid, I've been playing ESO and promoting it in this site since before you even knew it was thing. But unlike you, I call them as I see them and don't go all fanboy whiteknight when they need to be called on something.

This is a DLC re-branded as an expansion simply for the extra profit.

You lost me when you called him Kid.
