This is awesome news for this incredible game!
Hopefully they'll get the casting right and don't make it a teeny-drama about some highschool brats with super powers.

I'm in chapter 4 so far, so i won't be checking back into this thread...must avoid spoilers!

So post whatever you want, you won't see me back in here ;)

Pretty cool.  I think more TV/Movie producers should look to video games for source material, especially since it seems like they have no good ideas of their own.

Lots of cool ideas and scenarios in video games.

I agree.  Many of the episodic games would translate well into a series.  The Wolf Among Us comes to mind as a good example.  Actually, now that I think more on it, that one might be a great series.  Sort of a Grimm meets Once Upon a Time.

I don't think it needs an adaptation. In my opinion the game itself is enough and works as it is. I love that game. Let's see what happens.
the whole point of a tv series is for those that don't play games, it called mass market appeal.

depending on the budget it could be a well made 4+ episodes show, with a option too delve deeper into side stories or even go beyond the game itself, they confirmed a  sequel.

While I loved the game, I loved it because of the characters.  A TV series won't have the same feel as the game gives you it most likely won't evoke the same emotional responses as the game.  I just can't see Max or Chloe looking/sounding like someone else or any of the characters for that matter. To me, it's like reading an awesome book and then watching a movie about it.  Most of the time the movie fails to reach and pull you in like the book does.

I will most likely watch at least one ep of it, but I doubt it has the same impact or fan following as the game has.

I'm not an IT Specialist, Game Developer, or Clairvoyant in real life, but like others on here, I play one on the internet.

I hope they get the feeling right, something between stranger things and twin peaks with some xfiles thrown in there would fit this series. IMO that is.
