As announced on Twitter, there will be a special stream on Twitch that will finally reveal what the first big update "Incursions" is all about.

The Special Report will start 31/03/16 at 8pm CET / 2pm EDT / 11am PDT

What do we know so far about the Incursions update

In April, the first free update will introduce the first incursion, a new challenging end-game activity developed specifically for squad play. Teams will be able to test their skills as they face seemingly unstoppable enemies to gain high-level weapons and equipment. This update will also add one of the community’s most-wanted feature, loot trading; allowing players in the same group to trade loot collected during a co-op game session.

 

This is how Creative Director Magnus Jansen describes an Incursion:

An Incursion is a PvE end-game activity for a group of four players at max level. Incursions require preparation and coordination as they are extremely challenging. The first incursion will be available in the first free update. More Incursions are in development.
