imageLatin American Version To Begin OBT On March 8

Axeso5 has sent word that the open beta test for the Latin American and Brazil version of ASTA will kick off on March 8th. This version of the game will be localized in both Spanish and Portuguese.

    I kind of want to try this really bad for some reason. It looks generic and not all that great, but something is making me want to try it.

    its a pice of crap, played the closed beta to max lvl 50. Did all stuff.
    Now they nerfed the only income to progress as f2p- the blue dungeon tokens.
    it went pay2win very fast.

    Something that worries me is that this game had the same fate as Devilian. They both shut down in Korea, and then brought to the west as a last resort. I don't like that feeling. I might try it but i doubt i'd take the risk and spend any money.

    Every single mmo out there that has been revived after shutting down, has ended up shutting down again. ASTA and Devilian are just the newest specimens.

    Deviliand and Asta did feaking horrible and had to be shut down. Asta couldnt stay alive for even 1y before they decided to shut down all operations.
    There are still some other asta versions out there but even those are struggeling - even with free xp boost, event xp boost and so on.
    Dead game by birth.

    I hope they IP ban all the latam players because i have had enough with "algum brazilium bla bla bla" in every single game i play in na servers.

    I was looking forward to trying it some more. I got into the previous beta for a bit. But now they have IP region locked it. Companies saying they don't want me to use their product. No wonder so many MMORPGs fail.

    this games generic pvp was extremely satisfying for some reason, releasing it a day before BDO is a smart move the only bad thing i can think of is a crappy looking UI and a casino style stat system that has a chance to LOWER your stats PERMANENTLY kinda lame but it can be avoided entirely however your toon will be gimp come late game

    Yeah if Koreans reject the grind you gotta know it's bad.

    Considering Korean MMORPG's are like MY mmorpg type of choice I can see how the game has little to go on after you make max level.

    Devilian was shut down due to 2 things :- 1st; publisher shutting down all of their pc game service and going full mobile game service sine that is where the money is, 2nd; bluehole ginno could not find another publisher to release it since there is no point trying to compete against Lineage; the isometric arpg korean arpg lover are engrossed with even now, lineage is so popular that NCSOft has been forced to delay the development of Lineage Eternal; their next isometric arpg. Devilian is still doing fine in Thailand/Singapore/Malaysia etc version, Trion version; not so much though.

    As far as i know Asta faced the same problem and now publishing right has been taken over by webzen, same as eloa.
