Steam...Battle Eye malware detection?

Anyone else noticing a recent malware flag on the battle eye program?

I assume it is loaded through Steam since i see people complaining about it in DayZ as well as H1Z1.

I assume it is a anti hack program or is it simply a Steam spyware?

I ask because i noticed a totally harmless thread asking about it yesterday and people seemed stumped and then a mod quickly closed the thread.
Why would a mod close a thread where people are concerned with malware being loaded onto their computer?This is why i assume it is Steam related and not totally on the up and up as it likely spies on your HD without your permission.

Battleeye is a anithack program specifically realted to H1Z1, DayZ, Arma, and Ark.  Its not a steam program.
