Which is better hardware?

Hello All,

I am going to purchase my next gaming laptop and need feedback.  Which is better:

  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980M 4 GB GDDR5
  • 4th Generation Intel Core i7 4720HQ (2.60 GHz)

or
  • 6th Generation Intel Core i7 6700HQ (2.60 GHz)
  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M 3 GB GDDR5

    Personally I would probably go with the graphics card, but either way the overall performance probably wont differ much.

    One thing to consider is that the Skylake (6700) should provide better results for longer runs (like gaming) and reduced throttling.

    I don't have any experience with either of these setup, this is just based on research :)
