SWTOR Level 10 Newb questions

LoktofeitLoktofeit Member RarePosts: 14,247
Clicked a 'Fleet' icon in my bag and it brought me to a great marketplace/trainer area, but... how do I leave there and go back where I was?

Also, people are on vehicles and I was told they're available at level 10 but I can't seem to figure out where to get them.

And... spaceships. When and how does one get them has been a bit of a mystery to me.

The game seems far less intuitive than it was at release, although I am really enjoying the story much to my slightly impatient son's dismay. :)

What site or wiki do you recommend for help with basic questions like this?

There isn't a "right" or "wrong" way to play, if you want to use a screwdriver to put nails into wood, have at it, simply don't complain when the guy next to you with the hammer is doing it much better and easier. - Allein

Check map for "Departures"(South and West). You can take a shuttle to places from there.

Mounts are available starting at lvl 25, 15(subscribers) or 10 in case of Legacy unlocks(cartel market).

Thanks, Gd.   So the wikia site is current?

Wikia is pretty outdated. The most useful and recent information is on Dulfy's site.

    http://dulfy.net/

And a lot of info for new/returning players:

Most of the time its best to complete class missions on the starter planet before heading to fleet, usually around level 12+. Afaik the game wiki is fairly up to date, not sure about the duffy.net one as never heard of it before, the other thing is don't be afraid to ask questions in game, for the most part the other players are helpful, although as in most games out there, there are the odd few that seem determined to get on everyones ignore lists!

I personally prefer to use google rather than specific site so I cannot say how maintained official wiki is.

    Other wiki format is:
    http://swtor.gamepedia.com/

For base information either site should be sufficient and for something specific like character classes I would suggest to use google.

Sometimes just being recent isn't enough but format and depth is as important.
