-I just downloaded the free trial for this game last night on steam and I must say that I am pleasantly surprised (thus far) and considering this is one of the last subscription games left that I havnt yet played- I believe I will be purchasing this togive it a valid try within the next week.
So... Can I apply a buddy key to a free trial account and still get the bonuses? If so, anyone have a spare key who will be willing to show a newb the ropes a bit? If not, anyone have a spare key who would be willing to show a newb the ropes and since I only have a day on my trial toon- I could remake an account?
Anyhow, I honestly dont just the key and the bonuses, but perhaps have someone to help answer any questions I might have and perhaps help me get into a decent guild (or the equivelent for this game) since so far I have seen zero chat or social interaction in the starter town and I really want to have a more social experience than I have so far had.

I am really curious to check out FFXIV AAR. I have a soft spot for the franchise and I respect that the devs admitted that they screwed up with the first game and did a total remake. If anyone could PM me a code I would be most appreciative.
