The big fat UI mods discussion topic

Lord.BachusLord.Bachus Den HelderPosts: 9,436Member Rare

actually the questions are quite simple...

1) What is your favourite ESO UI mods website?

2) What are your favorite UI mods to date?

3) What UI mods are you hoping for in the near future?

(preferablythose possible with the current APi)

Keep in mind that a discussion is about the why, how what and where and not that much over the why not...

Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)

What this game lacks and should be covered eventually or is covered already by mods is:

    • A way to show character names and not account names in chat
    • A way to show which green have their properties researched and are safe to disassemble
    • Condensed research timers and horse feeding timers
    • A clock
    • A means to show buffs/debuffs during combat
    • A way to see durability at a glance instead of needing to hover over every single item
    • A way to see stamina or mana of group members
    • A way to fast join a group/raid, especially in PvP.
Those are the first things that come to mind. I don't believe in overloading the UI, but some base functionality should be there.
I'm reluctant to put a minimap, since I don't find it that necessary.
I also don't care about chat bubbles, though I feel that's due to limitations with the game engine.
