Last week, BioWare sent Star Wars: the Old Republic's Community Specialist Courtney Woods, Community Manager Eric Musco, Producer Andrew Horowitz, and Lead Engineer Johan Allanson to Atlanta with swag and drink tickets in hand for the latest Cantina Tour stop. The now-traditional flashdrive that was handed out contained a series of images from upcoming content, and as expected, there was a Q&A session with Courtney Woods moderating the party. Many thanks to Dulfy of for the flashdrive assets, and Youtube user Mike Goeppner for capturing video of the event from which I culled the basic questions and answers.

I have a very good idea about the game, and it does suffer. It suffers from bugs and most of BW's attention is on the shop. I'm not so sure about that million(s) number either. The only place that ever seems to have more than 1 or 2 players anymore is the fleet. Pretty much any leveling zone is dead dead dead.
You have no idea about the game.
They are releasing two new expansions so you can't say most of their attention is on the shop.
Leveling zones will depend on your server but for The Red Eclipse almost every zone has at least 2 instances. It's actually one of the few games that isn't completely dead at mid game.
You people just don't get it. 90% of those people you see in TOR are paid shills, financed by BioWare to make the game look popular. It's actually running at a horrible loss and always has, with the devs having as many babies as possible so they can sell them to child traffickers to get money to report as revenue for the game and trick us all into thinking it's successful. And they haven't actually released any new content since launch, they embedded hypnotic suggestions into the load screens to implant memories of having played through Makeb, Oricon, and the various events; none of them are actually there, just false memories of them. How can you not know TOR is a prime brainwashing program run by the Illuminati?

If you mention rose tinted glasses, you better be referring to Mitch Hedberg.
Yeah, it looks pretty damn good. Tempts me to hop onto PTS and try it.
The Flashpoints are also sounding very good, and a lot of people are happy to hear that Alexander Freed has written new content for the game (one of the community's favorite writers after his awesome work on the Imperial Agent's storyline).
My SWTOR referral link for those wanting to give the game a try. (Newbies get a welcome package while returning players get a few account upgrades to help with their preferred status.)

He also wrote the Imp side of Makeb, IIRC.

How dare a few people on the team not work one weekend a month. They should all be slaving away 24/7!
Comfirms Swtor Players housing!
Yes every game have bugs but serious after 3 year it still have bug that should have been fix in 1st year and we should even talk about lag issues honest SWTOR would be alot better game if company did care about fix this thing instead of add new thing and we should even talk about there poor custom support if post something of there custom support forum you have wait weeks before the even answer.
Honest i have play SWTOR and been ESO since start of beta and the dont have half of bugs or lag issues that SWTOR and both of them have there game server in US and i live in EU only time i can been in fleet is morning time here in EU for when US wake if lag like hell so honest mate get off your high horse and dont say SWTOR is better then ESO for it is not SWTOR is good and could be better if Bioware did fix all children bug the game still have
Actually they are forced to count their slave babies as "unearned revenue" on their balance sheet until they find a home... thats a liability. They do predict a great turnaround and upswing in revenue due to baby sales in Q3 this year though. We shall see..
But yeah, no clue what people are talking about with bugs. Yeah there are a few, but nothing game breaking so far. Content is good, would just like to see moar FPs.
Just left the game again.
PVP is pretty dead and althoug population is not low, the huge ammount of unskilled, undergeared and casuals is so high that is impossible to stand the game.
PVE rs at populated guilds can't understand how bad the shape of the game is as only see the numbers at fleet.
Is not about numbers, guys. Is about quality of players and dieharders.
BW dumbs the gameplay more and more with every patch so any 10 years old kid with a 2 button mouse can jump in and feel like playing.
This game is like "my first mmo".
PVE'rs live in a magic bubble whith guild raids filled always with same people and think everything is alright when a 174 fleet 3 istance pops at map.
The real pain is when you go to the PVP or group finder and see the real bulk of players.
Those who level to 55 in greens and left the game when face the reality of the endgame.
SWTOR is a corpse in makeup animated by thousands of worms.
I can feel your pain dude.
Don't worry I'm pretty sure that you will enjoy the game, reading your mature comment I'm sure you are one of the "elite players" the game is catering.
