Ok, this is simply how things are. These are concrete facts.
~MMORPGs should be split into 2 different genres.
~These two new genres should be labeled and recognized by companies as Theme-park MMORPG, and Sandbox MMORPG.
~Theme-park's are allowed an F2P, and B2P business model, as permanent population is not as necessary.
~Sandbox MMO's should remain P2P or at least otherwise not contain a cash-shop whatsoever.
~MOBA's, MMOFPS's, and ORPG's(Online RPG's [Diablo 3]) Are simply NOT MMORPG's. GET THEM OFF THIS SITE.
~A new genre of game should be created, Lobby RPG's, or LRPG's. A world filled with many other people while you run around completely single player quests to fulfill the needs of the non-social RPG players who have come into the mmorpg genre who just want an AH and trade/dueling.
~The arguments against F2P by the P2P Sandbox gamers are caused due to the OVERPOPULATION of the casuals, not the existance of them. There are simply no good Sandbox games that we haven't already played that are released right now because everyone in the market is a casual F2P player atm and businesses are catering only to them.
~Most F2P developers are greedy assholes who simply want money.
