just curious. has Chris Roberts ever said whether he's played EvE? has he ever compared Star Citizen to anything EvE?
i'm actually really curious as to what he would have to say about EvE.

He has stated in an interview a while back that although he does know of EVE he's never actually played it. Also he pretty much only compares what he's doing now with what he's done before. I can't recall him ever comparing Star Citizen to any other games besides Wing Commander, Privateer and Freelancer.
Edit: Oh and he does bring up Demon Souls quite a bit as well but only to praise the developers on how they seamlessly combined single player and multiplayer like what he wants to do with Star Citizen.
Second Edit: He has also mentioned Crysis 2-3 and Far Cry 3 a few times in passing when he is asked about what kind of Computer Specs will be required to run Star Citizen. Basically he's said any computer that will run those games should be able to handle Star Citizen and be playable.
