This post if here so I can promote a game that, in my opinion, has a lot of potential. The game I'm talking about is Guns of Icarus Online. (http://gunsoficarus.com/) GoIO is a steampunk/dieselpunk multiplayer airship combat game and was released on October 29th, 2012, as a lobby PvP game. The game devs have since decided to expand on the game and make it a airship combat game with towns, trade, player factions, and a living, breathing, persistent world.
Travel around the game world (https://s3.amazonaws.com/ksr/assets/000/458/573/edfac92683c239d47a3115f047f8e325_large.jpg?1363806197) with your own ship, player crew or be a crew member of on another ship. Trade, battle, raid or explore towns, choose your faction, or work for whoever pays the most.
Instead of telling you more about the game, you have their website above and below, and their kickstarter website below (More information on their kickstarter, as their website is ATM still focused on the lobby PvP action. I think this game has a lot of potential and I want others to know about it, and maybe help with the kickstarter. I already bought the original PvP lobby game and pledged on the kickstarter. But I do have a limit on how much money I can spend so I'm here to ask you to check out the game, and if you like it and can pledge, go do it, and help the devs develop a airship combat game with persistent world, where the ship require a crew of players to function. I wrote this because the game has little or none ads to promote its kickstarter and I want to help the game be heard of, and in many cases players who don't know about games but might enjoy them.
