For lazy boots, letter details the upcoming (no release date atm) Issue 7 which takes a decided James Bond flavor with the obvious creepy TSW undertones.

Issue 7 takes place in Transylvania and you investigate werewolves, the Orochi connection to the hairy brutes and get a new aux weapon, the Flamethrower!

An interesting part of the letter for PvP'ers:

"In addition we are beginning the early work on our "Black Ops" PvP feature. This feature will be similar to "events" in other games, except that an area of a playfield will become contested as the three factions fight to control relics/areas/important people passing through an area. I can't promise it for Issue #7, but work on it has begun."

    Sounds like fun.

Hell hath no fury like an MMORPG player scorned.

Yep, some bit of outcry over PvP out in the zones, but Joel emphasized that participation in open world PvP is optional.

Yeah there are a couple of otherwise unused areas in the Egypt zones they could put the fights, or alternatively set things up so you are flagged for PvP if and only if you are wearing one of those PvP uniforms in an adventure zone.
