Area Locked

Are the areas still gonna be locked for the individuel factions, so you can't explore the other factions areas?!

It doesn't feel very real, if you can't go to those areas just for exploration or PVP..

People will be forced to play different to complete/explore the whole game, and that will not be good for the faction pride, if that's something they are aiming for.

 

I don't care about the Faction Locked!... You choose the faction you want, and stick to it. That make sence, but if you can't explore the whole world doesnt make sence! So is there any more info about it? Do we have some developer talking about it??

The way it works is that certain races are part of a certain faction (no choosing) and once you reach level 50 in your faction area you can pick another faction's area to level/explore. However, you don't see any of the enemy in that faction just your faction's peeps. After you level in that area to another "50" you can choose to level in the remaining area.

Apparently the more you proceed through the game world the better the items you will find and the more you can increase the efficacy of certain skills.

I thought the others was about Factions Locked, and not Area Locked.. And No I haven't read every single thread..

Faction lock is area lock. The areas locked are the ones belonging to the other factions. You can opnly PvE in your own faction's area until level 50. Then you can explore an instanced level-50 version of the other areas.

Ahh okay, thank you then..   So its all the same, and a very known disturbing fact.. I hope the developers are aware of the subject.
