REAL TESO Pax East small gameplay footage

in Elder Scrolls Online

I've been looking for some TESO footage from PAX and most are removed but for this one.

take a llok while it is still up.

shows the UI and the feel of the game in general which is what I wanted to see, when are game companies gonna learn pictures are lame and tells us nothing about the game itself.

this one is outside freaking youtube for you guys enjoy

    Why on earth would they not allow people to show footage of the game they were trying to show off? That makes no sense at all.

    If in 1982 we played with the current mentality, we would have burned down all the pac man games since the red ghost was clearly OP. Instead we just got better at the game.

    I find it hilarious that ZOE won't allow anyone to see videos of a demo at a game convention. Demos are not bound by a NDA, I mean even Defiance, under that stricked NDA, was allowed to post demo footage.


    Talk about being scared of your own product...lol

    I don't understand. They're willing to let folks try out the game at PAX, yet unwilling to let people view the footage?

    Yup.  The only thing it possibly shows is that ESO used a 3rd person camera view.  Maybe Zenimax is trying not to scare away regular ES fans that might otherwise preorder the game blindly /shrug

     

    I could see using the NDA to protect vital game secret mechanics and stuff, but blocking something so simple is reminding me of how EA tried to hide SWTOR from the general public as long as they could ...

    Damn the closed beta is going to take months to be done so we still have like months of NDA :/

    It shows the UI which I haven't personally seen before and it looks surprisingly clean and simple.

    Also the combat outside of the cinematic type videos they keep releasing was nice for a change. Aiming, Crosshairs, ect.

    It looks like GW2 without the good animations.  Luckily, they can be changed.

    Unfortunately for a friend of mine who hated GW2's particle effects, I see the potential for some screen filling magic use if this vid is any indication.  Otherwise, from this footage, it looks like it could be a dozen other MMOs.  At least post something with the first person camera, something those MMO's DON'T have.

    Found this one, it looks fairly close to the gameplay I was hoping for from an elder scrolls game. It seems to be a prerecorded walkthrough/demo from a dev.

    Well, zooming out the camera that far ruins the ingame immersion for me, i prefer the camera just behind the shoulder possition in PvE.

    Best MMO experiences : EQ(PvE), DAoC(PvP), WoW(total package) LOTRO (worldfeel) GW2 (Artstyle and animations and worlddesign) SWTOR (Story immersion) TSW (story) ESO (character advancement)
