    By having this option in the game, the play style is open for many different types of players as well as those that don't care to use it.

    I'm not for the follow command however.. Wouldn't it be fun to include a nav system kind of app in the game? a feature that shows you the following routes:

    Tourist: routes you via major events villages etc.

    Adventurist route: routes you via  locations where quests are available for your level

    Quickest: route ignoring all dangers on your path between you and your destination
