How does the Political System affect experience?

I'm just wondering if it has much influence. If you get a socialist vanarch that taxes the shit out of everyone, does it kill the experience? Or is it less influencial?

oh my...u realy need to educate yourself about what socialist means...

w/e no the influence of a vanarch  is not that big...he can set high taxes but u can alawys move to areas with low taxes. and ofc in all probabilily that vanarch wont be elected no more.

I realize "socialist" does not mean "high taxes" but those 2 factors follow hand in hand most of the time.
